Product Description The Kensington Notebook DC Power Adapter delivers more power than other DC power adapters - at a fraction of the size. With a whopping 120W, it can power more of today's notebooks. And its super-slim profile - up to 70% smaller and lighter than competing DC supplies - makes the Notebook DC Power Adapter a pleasure to carry.

Kensington 120 watt DC Notebook Power Supply for Laptops May 3, 2008 R. Walton This was a bad buy. The 120-watt supply does not provide adequate power to charge and run a Toshiba Satellite 1955 laptop from the 12-volt power outlet in the car. The laptop is rated at 90 watts. I contacted Kensington and they said they would send me a different connector. They did send a different connector and it did not work any better than the first one I used. I told them the new connector did not work. They told me that they did not have a connector for my computer and that was that. Communicating with Kensington by email in an attempt to fix this problem took over a month. They do not do refunds.
Works as expected -- needs more tips October 2, 2007 T. Wielgos (near Chicago) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this thing so I could watch movies on my laptop during the eight hour flight to Hawaii for my honeymoon. It worked great. It plugged right into the empower port in my seat on the plane, and did everything I expected it to. The only downsides (besides the hefty price tag) were that it didn't come with tips for my cell phone -- a Motorola e815 -- which uses the same charger as many other Motorola phones, though you could order it from them. Also, though I could get a tip for my wife's Nintendo DS fat, they do not make a tip for my DS lite. My advice to anyone considering it is to make sure they make a tip for your device before purchasing, and even then, make sure the tip you need comes with the unit instead of needing a separate order. Also, be careful that additional tips don't put you over your price point.
Good for road warrior, too short AC cable May 22, 2007 Jacky Chen 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bough a refurbished with tips packege (N1/N2/N8, M1/M2/M5/M15, J1/6), here is my comment. 1) Small and slim, thanks god, finally someone gave us right size... NB small and small every day, but adaptor and NB bag large and large... 2) As most review, the adaptor is hot, and AC cable is short... In fact, that was toooo short... Understand we don't like 2 super long cable on the road, but this 3" AC cable... Why they not just make it like a piece... the wire easy to twice, because that is so short... anyway, let me see how many days it will twice to die... 3) Thanks for super tips package, now I just need a adaptor for all I need (air/car/AC for NB, Cell and PDA) P.S. I had measure the voltage from the adaptor, it seen voltgae change due to recharge, hope it's ok.
Pathetic availability of SmartTips February 10, 2007 ianto39 (San Francisco, CA USA) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Before buying one of these make sure Kensington makes a tip for your device, they still don't have one for the IBM Thinkpad T60, or a properly working one for the Motorola RAZR - and how long have they both been available!!!
Lets a road warrior be a road warrior! January 23, 2007 Gregory A. D. Williams (Wilmore, KY) Great product. Allowed me to get a lot of work done away from standard power. The size is ideal and light.
