Protective sleeve, and very efficient. I love the nylon feel. Easy to handle. Bought it for my 12 inch hp laptop, (its supposed to be for macs), and the only reason its a 4 is because my laptop just barely fits in

I probably would have never reviewed a laptop case but there was an incident that recently occurred regarding this case.
I've had this case for awhile and it did it's job. I bought it for my 14" HP Pavilion laptop and it fit perfectly. It kept my laptop from scratches and whatnot. But one day, I was holding a bunch of binders and I put my laptop on the very top (stupid) and I walked down the stairs. Of course the laptop dropped and it landed on my tiled floor. Needless to say, I was scared out of my mind but when I opened it up, there was only a small dent and the top part came loose. But that was easily remedied by pushing it back in. When I turned on my laptop, it worked fine. Whew!!!
I also bought it on another website for only $12.99 but don't remember which one.

This sleeve fits the new Macbook like a glove. Great sleeve to protect it inside of a bookbag, brief case, etc. Would like to see some more color options. Other than that, you can't go wrong with this sleeve and price.

The image of this item is a little deceiving; the trim on the bag is actually gray and the basic color is a darker silver than it appears here. The material is also flimsier, which is a drawback in terms of protection, though this does mean the sleeve isn't too bulky in a school bag. I also have to really cram my 13.3" Macbook into the case, so while it fits nice and snug, it's a bit of a hassle every time I use my computer. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd return this product and look for one that was more attractive and protective.
